week 4 - photographer Manish


I fell in love with this photo while looking for image for my portrait painting sometimes last year. That is how I get to know photographer Manish in Instagram. Manish photographs enrich me with finest imagery of India landscape and heritage sites.

* Manish started taking images to document his travel and adventures and with time fast by he already full time into it without knowing when.

*  Manish love for mountains make him take adventure trekking to the highland of Himalayan.

week 3  - photographer Hiroshi Sugimoto

*      Hiroshi born in Tokyo, Japan and moved to New York in 1974 after graduated from Art Center  
College of Design, LA.

*     Hiroshi start taking photograph in his high school as a project work photographing film footage of Audrey Hepburn as it played in a movie theatre. He start working as a dealer of  Japanese antiquities after graduate. He is also an accomplished architect and show interest in  20th century buildings.

*     Hiroshi began his work with Dioramas in 1976, a series in which his photographs displays in natural history museum. The technic he used in this series make the fake objects so real. Details of his works can be found on his website as mention below.

*    Hiroshi began working on Theatres series in 1978 and followed by Seascapes in 1980 which is working on series of photographs of the sea and its horizon.

*   Hiroshi started  architecture series in 1995.

*    Hiroshi writes his own history of the world and has said "photography functions as a fossilization of time"

*    Beside winning many awards and showcase his works in many exhibitions, Hiroshi also publish books of his works.

week 2 - photographer Sanjitpaal Singh

*  Sanjit has been in photography for over 14 years and won various awards. Sanjit has pretty much done with all kinds of style be it photo journalism, product shoots, camera reviews, commercial photography and at one point anything goes to pay the bills of photoghaper.

*  Sanjit is established Malaysia nature and wildlife photographer. He love for nature and wildlife photography derived and instilled by his wife who is a Conservation Biologist.

*  Sanjit is founder of fullcirclepix.com which supply photography services in events and creative assignments for senses of Malaysia magazine. Also supply services for corporate and social events.

*  Sanjit love of photography has gained him sponsorship from Olympus Malaysia and supporting photograhic product (Datacolour Spider) and Gitzo tripod.

*Sanjit also conducts numerous workshops, exhibitions  and seminars locally and overseas. He has judged photo competitions in Malaysia and Singapore. Exhibition stories from the Malaysia Rainforest in Paris something must take note.

* Sanjit also contributes to DSLR and a columnist for Aperture magazine.
